These prestigious awards recognize the year’s best in creating exceptional gardens and honour the outstanding skill and workmanship of BC’s landscape professionals in various project categories.
The 2024 BC Landscape Awards of Excellence Recipients have been Announced!
This year, we received a record-breaking 36 entries, from 18 companies, including our first interiorscaping entry since 2007!
Of these entries, a record-breaking 12 companies took home a combined 13 awards in 4 categories.

The BCLNA recognizes the high standard of expertise in the landscape trade through the annual BC Landscape Awards of Excellence. These prestigious awards recognize the year’s best in creating exceptional gardens and honour the outstanding skill and workmanship of BC’s landscape professionals in various project categories.
Each year, landscape firms submit their best installation, maintenance and design projects of the season, ranging in size from $5,000 to over $120,000. These projects are evaluated against rigorous criteria, rather than against each other, by a panel of highly accredited judges. Entries are submitted in one of the following categories: Installation, Design, Maintenance, Small Space Gardens, Unique Features, or Interior-scaping.

The Submission Period for the 2025 Awards of Excellence will open on July 1, 2025.
To submit an entry, complete these 3 simple steps:
- 1 Pay the entrance fee online
- 2 Submit the online form for the chosen category: Design or Installation/Maintenance/Unique Feature
- 3 Upload videos and photos to the digital folder sent to you by BCLNA after payment
The BC Landscape Awards of Excellence Categories Are:
Landscape Design awards recognize expertise in the design and architecture put forward for a specific project.
Landscape Installation awards recognize exceptional execution in installing landscape projects.

Landscape Maintenance awards recognize exceptional work in maintaining spaces over time.

Unique Feature awards recognize innovation and creativity in utilizing unusual features in a project.
Within the majority of categories, recipients can earn an additional distinction called a ‘Green Stamp’. This Green Stamp is awarded to projects that showcase environmentally friendly practices, elements, or principles.
What does this look like? Best practices include native plantings, green roof technology, energy conservation strategies, permeable paving, water conservation strategies, and other sustainable approaches.
